Dolce Confections Refund & Exchange Policy

Return Policy Summary

Due to the perishable and custom nature of our products, Dolce Confections does not accept returns or exchanges, except in cases where an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.


General Refund Policy

All refund or exchange requests must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery or pickup.

To be eligible for review, customers must provide clear photos of the product and original packaging.

We do not offer refunds or replacements for:

  • Taste preferences

  • Items that have been eaten or partially consumed

  • Orders that were accepted in good condition

Approved claims are resolved with a replacement or store credit, at our discretion. Refunds are not guaranteed.


Warm Weather & Warm-Climate Shipping

Chocolate is extremely heat-sensitive.

We do not refund or replace orders damaged by heat, including melting, softening, or chocolate bloom.

Ice packs and insulated packaging must be added at checkout for warm-weather or warm-climate shipments.
Orders shipped without ice packs are not eligible for refunds or replacements due to heat damage.

We are not responsible for UPS/FedEx delays, mishandling, or extended transit times, and no refunds or replacements are issued for damage caused by carrier delays.


Delivery Issues

If tracking information shows an order as delivered, we are not responsible for stolen, lost, or missing packages.

Orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer are not eligible for refund or replacement.


Store Pickup

Once an order is picked up, it is considered accepted in good condition and is not eligible for refunds or replacements for damage that occurs afterward.


Exchanges

Exchanges are granted only if an incorrect item was sent by Dolce Confections.

If a return is required, items must be unused and in original packaging.
Return shipping costs, if applicable, are the responsibility of the customer.


Custom & Corporate Orders

All custom, personalized, and corporate orders are final sale once production has begun and cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded.
